Secret Shopper Employment – An Overview

Secret Shopper Employment can be a great way to earn extra income or even make a living from once you become established.

Many people such as stay-at-home Mums or active retired folk find themselves in a position where they would like to do a part time job, which is flexible, and can easily fit in with their daily routine. If this sounds like you then secret shopper employment is certainly worth a look.

If you have never heard of secret shopper employment let me give you a brief overview of what the job involves. You will be asked to go to a business, make a telephone (or on-line) order or reservation, posing as a normal customer but whilst there you will be noting (mentally) the answers to a questionnaire which will be filled in later and sent to the secret shopping agency.

Your answers will be reported to the business in question and used to improve their services.

You may be required to do an audiovisual report so that the business can see areas in which employees may be failing and so be able to implement adequate training etc. Also, this can show areas of store cleanliness or appearance, which may need attention.

The beauty of secret shopper employment is that you can pick and choose the assignments and so be in control of your days. You can even schedule assignments to fit in with your plans such as a restaurant visit with your family!

Some assignments will allow you to take along your child or children such as grocery shops, video stores and theme parks. Obviously there will be places where this would not be advisable such as bars or car dealerships, they would only get bored and you would not be able to give the job your full attention.

Another positive for this type of employment is that you are in control of how far you are willing to travel. If the assignment is too far from home or cannot be incorporated into a planned trip you can decline it with no questions asked and take another more suitable one.
